Newbie looking for buying advice

Mine has the standard black steering wheel. I think all models are subject to customisation when ordering it's best not to get hung up on spec.
Hey, no problem. Each to their own i guess. It seems to be standard in the last model SE's & i wanted all the toys that come with it. One question though, is the centre console wood solid wood on all models as mine is??

Hi All,
An update from me - I have had a change of plan.
Due to the fact most Range Rovers seem to have overheating problems at some stage and because I am mad I am now looking for a non runner to tinker with and bring back to life.
Must be high spec, preferably later and preferably a 4.6.
Let me know if you have anything or see anything about!

I have found a car - A Epsom Green 4.6 HSE that was delivered yesterday.
Exactly what I was looking for - its in great condition with an unknown overheating problem.

DON'T DO IT! "unknown" means "it'll cost a lot to find out and/or fix." Chances are the head is goosed and that is if you're lucky. If the liners are gone, you're up a creek. Never buy a broken RR unless you get it for pennies (£800 [eight hundred] max) and can fix it yourself.

hello and welcome to the world of the mighty green oval ..
i bought a p38 4.6 hse ltd editon last sept 1998 plate lots of wood carin sat nav lightstone leather and oxford blue paint work .... very very very nice 2 owners from day dot last owner from when it was 3 year old ...looked after ...very nice ..... i have mot ed it ,oil change and filters each 6 months,and replaced the air suspen pump,hvac book sym on easy fix regas the aircon .so all this lovely amazing green oval stuff cost me the amazing low sum of £1400 yes you heard £1400 had nooooooooo problems at all love it to bits .... its booked in for window tint rears,and just bought nappa leather seats for £250 stole them at that price ....so you can find good uns just look .... was a carin 50 on flea bay a while ago .... ohhhhh and this baby is L.P,G sorted so happy happy happy days .. find one, get one, love one enjoy ....and goodluck

If the compressor needed replacing, it probably also needs new airsprings.
