Hi, I've been a regular user of forums for other vehicles (TT Forum, Scirocco Net etc) so I hope this will be as useful and informative and fun.

I pick up a Freelander 2 TD4 White on 5th Feb, having managed to find a cancelled order yaay!

Unfortunately the spec is fixed so I will need to get parking sensors retrofitted and also a boot liner - any recommendations ?

It will have a baptism of fire as I will be driving down to the French Alps on 12th Feb for a ski holiday!

E-Bay?

No, I called about a 3 month old car and when chatting to the salesman he mentioned they'd had an order cancelled that morning as the people couldn't get finance.

I didn't think of ebay tbh lol

So, I told him what I had been offered for my px, he called me back within 10 mins to pretty much match it so I drove down to Croydon, took a test drive and we did the deal.

Now then, i think ebay was in ref to the bootliner etc.

i wonder why they cancelled the order for the gaylander?

do you think they saw the light
