Get the welder out... by tge sounds of things you will need a flaring kit as well..

Cheers bud ill see what aa man says and I asked for advice, took it and did the best I could with the knowledge I have unfortunately I'm not psycic so didn't foresee the brake issue. Nice to see people being positive when someone try's doing the best they can on a limited budget and knowledge!

Most of that will clean up with a wire wheel. I used box section for my sills, went in great. The most fiddly bit looks like the rear ns where the back door (5door) would be.
Check under the panels, my Rangy was under sealed and when I cleaned back in places I found rust underneath it what are the boot supports like?

Yep it's good to see that mate, very nice body on it and not a bad floor at all.
As above, good wire wheel and see what falls out.
ADVICE:
remove kick panels, side panels, dickie seats etc etc.
You want to be able to get a good uninhibited look around the inside of the body all the way around the vehicle up to the windows.
If you're getting stuck right in I implore you to remove the dashboard and check for rot behind there, as there is likely to be holes on the inside I the pillars and these make mystery water leaks.
After you're all done and painted in body Schultz or similar, DEFINITELY DO NOT REPLACE ANY SOUND DEADENING and ideally leave the carpets out too.
Being able to wash out the car is a bonus and you can visually keep an eye on your floor pan, plus it is able to dry quickly once wet.
Must say I'm very very chuffed that the first thing you've done is too the carpets out, this is looking good so far

Its OK to leave the soundproofing and carpets out. As long as you've got some ear defenders!

Well yeah but
Well I was going to leave them out and just put an uber loud stereo in it to compensate. I'm not going as far as taking out the dash I think that is one job beyond my capability.
I am trying to get the folding seats out but can't they are proving to be a pain. The a pullar on drivers side has managed to rot at the top some how.

200 dash is really easy! Promise you mate if you're going to this length it would be worth it, give you a proper chance to address it all at once and SO SO MUCH easier to work on the front footwells.
