I have fitted my new wheels today.
22" stormers with Toyo proxes. The ride has actually improved, but as stated on here, there is some vibration whilst in gear with my foot on the brake. Not really a problem but it is noticable.

I like the way the wheels have transformed the whole vehicles feel and appearance.

Any comments welcome.:)

hi black disco kwik question on my range ive posted before that the ride i get out of mine is not as comfortable as i was expecting feels like ive got 20 profile tyres on go over a small bump in road and i can feel it through me fat belly have been told its coz i got 255/55/18 tyres so you going up to 22" with lower profiles does that mean ive bin told a load of tosh about this, by the way stunning looking wheels mate thanks

I was on that size before and I thought the ride was comfortable but a bit blamonge like. Since fitting the 22"s I have noticed that road noise has reduced (I think this is because of the pattern on toyo's) and comfort is the same if not a touch better, but it feels more precise and alive. I have done about 200 miles on them now and I have found they tend to want to tram line under braking, but this is controlable and not too much to worry about.
Are you running the correct tyre pressures on your rangie? I ask this because not so long back I got the Dicso back from the dealers after a £950 'service' and it felt like the wheels were solid steel, I drove over a pot hole and my fillings nearly fell out, a quick detour to trusty tesco's revealed I had nearly 60psig in the fronts and 50 in rears:eek: . After correcting the pressures and paying a visit to the dealers the car felt fine again.

Here are some more pics of the new wheels taken today, at clay blank North Yorkshire. Enjoy.

I am really enjoying ownership of my rangie at the moment. It will be going in for a new radiator next week as I have spotted the seams are leaking a little bit, warrenty job.

Hi Blackdisco, the pictures are very nice and the wheels are excellent.

I love the colour, a very nice motor :D :D

As stated before lovely colour and very nice wheels, I am running 22's on mine and was wondering what tyre pressure you have gone for and why ?

Thanks..............Adam

Hi Blackdisco,
Could you tell me what pressures you are running on your 22's.

Thanks..................Adam
