New used freelander 2

Hi, just bought a used freelander 2. Im struggling to figure out what the controls are at the back of the centre console, nothing in the handbook for it. Volume buttons, forward and back another button(?) And a headphone jack. Any ideas?

For the rear passengers to control the stereo system.

That's a good thing IMO.

My D3 had rear passenger audio controls when I bought it. The last thing I wanted was for the kids to be messing with my sounds, so I took all the control panels out and replaced them with blanking plates from the lower spec models

They control the audio settings only when headphones are plugged in

Have you tried plugging in headphones and seeing what happens?
