I was out laning yester day on halfway through the day i got a bad vibration over 30mph. I've just looked at all the UJ's and the rear one is shot near the diff. I have just fitted a 2" lift and wondered if it's worth just changing the UJ or should i fit a wde angle prop. whats the chances i will destroy another UJ

depends when you replaced the one that has just failed.

I would change both UJ's and monitor it from there. you shouldn't get any problems with the rear prop on a 2" lift. Its only the fronts which see problems binding.

Just taken the rear propshaft off, should they extend easily as mine wont extend, tried pulling it but didn't budge.

there should be some amount of slide yes. pump some fresh grease through the nipple and tap it with a hammer to try and free it up. the shaft will be splined. maybe they have corroded together due to lack of lubrication. Try not to pull it all the way out though as you may not get it back correctly and upset the balance.

Can you get just wide angle uj's? Or do you have to get the prop? Tarting a landy up for my boss and he wants a 2" lift but also needs uj's.. So trying to save money!?

uj is a uj ,wider angle is done by shaping yokes ,you can check if wide angle will help by checking yokes arent rubbing ( metal to metal)when prop turned ,if not catching and you still get noise /vibration with good ujs you will need double cardan shaft

Cheers James, il stick the lift kit on and have a look. Itl be at the biggest angle with weight off the suspension won't it?
