i recently bought a 300tdi injector puller. today i used it for the first time 
it makes short work of getting them pesky injectors out !
after a drop in performance i decided to have the injectors checked at atkins diesel. they checked out fine so back in they went.
after i had cleaned them up and refitted them the inprovment was quite noticable.
if your going to do this job make sure you get four new injector clamp studs as they are a stretch stud . one of them did just that and was close to snapping, lucky for me i was able to borrow one of my other disco.
ive got some on order from land rover as they are a genuine part only.
after getting it out the tip was caked in carbon.
using an improvised cleaner to clean out the injector ports and then clean the tips of the injectors with a soft wire brush.
refit them and torque them back down job done. took about one and a half hours from start to finish.
