When im not booting the fook out of mine I am always in gears which I guess would be considered high for the speed, generally go up to:
1st - 5mph
2nd - 10-15mph
3rd 25mph
4th - 35mph
5th - anything over 35mph
maybe if its a flat road might get it in 5th at 30mph
But thats just fuel saving, if I want to go a bit quicker but not mad I'll just put it up to around 3000RPM in each gear before changing, and of course putting it up to 4k wont hurt it but it might hurt your wallet.
But if you ever got some basic mods done to it and had it remapped the difference is absolutely amazing, you barely have to give it anything for it to pull hard.
If it has air suspension you'll find its a really nice ride quality, you can see the 2 air bags instead of springs on the rear suspension, but they do get converted to springs a lot due to small problems.
If it has ACE, there will be a tank next to the power steering with a vehicle symbol and 2 arrows pointing to its side, will show on dash light check too. If it does you will also find it handles better than some small cars, and probably the best handling 4x4 you'll drive, with little to no body roll, its like an f1 car
As mentioned the second "gearstick" you leave in High range, which is normal driving, you put it in low when off roading etc, very useful in snow as the engine braking is increased, it can be used on normal roads etc, wont hurt it but you can only do around 30mph before your topping out 5th gear.
Ohhh it also has one of those fancy auto dimming mirrors, for the past 2 years I thought I had a tinted rear window... till I put my phone flashlight on the mirror and it turned blue.... fancy eh
