I am brand new to this site, so not sure if this is the right section in which to be asking this question but here goes. I've been told by someone I firstly put this in the wrong place on this website, but their answer was about as useful as a chocolate teapot as they didn't say where to put it, they simply told me in a slightly patronising and condescending manner that I had posted it in the wrong place. Great! So here goes I hope someone can help.
My wife has a 2001 freelander TD4 (Y reg) and just today has experienced a problem with the central locking. Basically when she used to click once on the keyfob remote it would open just the driver door and then a second push would open all doors. Unfortunately however no matter how many clicks she does on the keyfob now, all the doors unlock, except for the driver door and the same occurs when she is going to lock the door. his means that in order to open and close the driver door now she is using the old school method of inserting the key and so forth. Whilst not a major problem, I hope someone can advise or help. Is there a separate fuse fro the driver door mechanism or is there another part I should be aware of. HELP!! Many Thanks.
