Hi
I'm new to the forum, and i'm looking forward to the challenges of being a Freelander owner.
(Just bought one, series one, great engine great, clutch, great bodywork, for a 98MY buuuuut
Knackered rear window nearside slider stuck down.
Knackered pax window motor runs no movement.
Knackered Brakes (get more movement stepping on a brick than my brake pedal).
Knackered front doors central locking opening.
Why did I buy it I was knackered at the time.
No seriously....Not much money ...bought it fairly cheap...looking forward to putting it right.
I've driven land rovers for twenty years but never owned one so I,m starting with this and working my way up and trying to get myself a defender someday.
The forum looks great and seems really helpful I'll probably end up needing some advice from some seasoned landy experts that seem to be in abundance here.
.

Only just joined myself, definitely seems to be a huge amount of knowledge and a decent amount of comedy here!

welcome to the asylum

there is indeed plenty of advice here, along with friendly banter

is said tongue in cheek so don't ever take any comments to heart

post over in the freelander section ,

plus don't worry it's a land rover, they all need our attention otherwise they have a tantrum, lol

sort out the priority jobs first then slowly work ur way down the list

plenty of us around if u get stuck on anything
