Hi thanks for letting me join I’ve had several land rovers in my life rangeing from beat up old defenders up to the freelander2 I’ve got now. My late wife hated them and gave me an ultimatum get rid of the defender and buy a proper car which I did but my heart was still with landrover. I got back into land rovers when my wife past away first was a 2006 freelander1 then 3 freelander2s over a few years until the one I have now bought from new its a 2013 freelander 2 SD4 HSE with 57000 miles It’s a great car but I did have a haldex pump failure when the car was 2 years old this was covered on the warranty the only other thing to go wrong was the exhaust heat shields had to be renewed. It’s going in for its annual service in January and as landrover don’t include the haldex service should I ask for it to be done the local independent landrover garage has looked after my car since the warranty ended and they are a lot cheaper than the main dealer.I’m looking forward to asking questions hoppa
