New to a P38!

Hi all
Well finaly done it and purchased a 4.6HSE for a reasonable price from local garage. Brother in law has own repairs shop and warned me off landies so I bought a p38 to show I do listen to him sometimes! Anyway eyes wide open so its back to the garage under 3 month warrent for cruise control that dont work and the book symbol in the air con (although it all works ok!).

Anyway, all i hear is scare stories on the air suspension. What are the problems and how expensive are they? Not scared of doing the work myself as long as its not under the bonnet (nothing like my MGB in there!)

However I love it to bits so looking forward to finally getting it a bit muddy without worrying. Wife is already becoming very used to country pub meals via as many fords as she can find on the o/s maps.

same as any car m8. the eas could last you a lifetime, or die at the next corner. mine has done 130k miles and all is well so far.

my next door neighbour has a plain X reg vw golf, which has just cost him £1700 to fix. so its swings and round-a-bouts.

i wouldnt swap my rangey for anything (except maybe a new one)
