Hi
My steering is way out of alignment despite having the tracking just done. It pulls massively to one side plus I have outer tyre wear on both front tyres a. I also have a bit of vibration at higher speeds. Someone mentioned the tie rod ends could be buggered. I've had a quick inspection and the drivers side seems knackered. Can you tell by this photo?

Appreciate any help in advance. First pic is the drivers side (which feels like the problem area) 2nd pic is the passenger side

Sometimes is obviously wrong that needs rectifying, by someone whose competent.

Potentially, if they're very bad.

I've had a quick inspection and the drivers side seems knackered.
How did you deduce that?

Can you tell by this photo?
No. A worn joint will have slop internally, but often no signs externally, unless the dust cover is split.

I'm assuming the way to check this is jacked up, then move wheel side to side checking for excessive play and noise? Whilst watching rod end?

Leave it on the ground get someone to rock the steering side to side while you feel for any play in the joints. There should be no play at all. If your not sure get it inspected by a reputable garage not a tyre fitters
