Of course she loves it. She might have a change of heart when she has to:-
  • Put fuel in it all by herself.
  • Pay a garage to service it all by herself.
  • Top up the oil all by herself.
  • Top up the anti-freeze and winscreen washer fluid all by herself.
  • Get it MoT'ed all by herself.
  • Replace the tyres and brake parts all by herself.
  • Insure it all by herself.
You're such a bad father, setting her up for such a rude awakening as that! :D

Some of the list can be applicable to company car drivers, but no a lot what ever sex.
For me from the early days of Talbots, Sunbeam, Chevette, Hunter, Maestro and Mk1 Astra and the rest on to an up to date 2.0 Accord.
All very boring, never been in "love" with any of them, that's why I have always had my own car just "for the week end sir" :D

1 yes done that.
2 n/a company pays.
3 n/a done at the service.
4 n/a never had the car long enough.
5 n/a company pays, still use garage with my own cars, I don't do replacement tyres.
6 n/a company pays.

I think you'd better sit down while I let you in on a little secret, it might come as a bit of a shock to one such as yourself, but there are people out here in the real world who actually fund their own vehicles, including fuel, oil, servicing, tyres, repairs and everything else that goes with owning a bottomless pit at the side of the road which demands large quantities of money be thrown into it.
