New rf unit

Hi guys, new RF receiver arrived today for my 4.0l 1996 p range rover p38 part number ywy500170 but its not going to fit in place of my old unit. there is no place for my aerial to go in and has 2 connections on top but the main blue wire has 1 large connection and the new unit has 3 pins, hope i am making sense. Have i been sent the wrong part????

It's the right part, you are probably looking at the radio aerial amplifier not the RF receiver. There are 2 little boxes under the trim.

Yep, right part; RF unt sits under off-side rear trim immediately behind rear passenger seat. Single blue wire is aerial connector, other plug goes to the BeCM. You're looking at Radio aerial unit which is further back!

Hi Moz. Been up in the high 20'sC reached 30C on Saturday finished with a storm and some much needed rain, first of any note since the snow last year, More rain today and the P38 is off for it's bi annual MOT tomorrow.
