New purchase rr came with sport wheels tyre size

hi all I’m sure it’s been asked before but I’ve purchased a new to me 2004 td6 it came with 20 inch sport wheels (seller sold some type of 22 Kahn design wheel that came with it and replaced with these whole car has k everywhere not that I cared bought it to tow ) I believe tyre that are on are 275 40 20 and the ride is harsh in my opinion and range rovers are not meant to have such small tyres I’m sure we live in North Yorkshire not Chelsea

Can I fit the specified tyre that’s meant for an L322 running 20 inch wheels ? 255 50 20 or better yet 255 55 20 seem to be more range ?? Or is the width difference an issue from sport to rr

I am sure if you do a search there are a few recent posts/threads on this. You could just sell the wheels and rubber bands and buy the size and boots they're supposed to have.

Correct tyres are with 8" rims 255/55/19 or 265/55/20.
