new, old member in south west

Hi everyone,a little about myself, obvious a L/r enthusiast otherwise I wouldn't be here, live in Somerset, and have lived with l/r most of my life and have owned the following in my time, 1989 110 V8 CSW, 1978 90 Series 3 with 200 TDI fitted, 2007 110 CSW 2.4, 1989 90 V8 CSW, 1989 110 V8 HCPU, 1978 101 original 3.5 V8, 2001 P38 4.6 first registered LR 1, and current (amongst some of the above) 2010 RR S/C autobiography, (notice the V8 theme here) have loved them all and spent far to many hours under them (and the obvious fortune) keeping them up to scratch.

So, you've had one or two Landies then ... what happened to them... sold or broken for spares?

I still have three, last one I sold was the 101 earlier this year, none broken (I wouldn't dare) most I've restored , used until I've fancied something else and then moved on to another, a couple I sold I wish I hadn't but needs must at the time.

Reg LR1 was owned by land rover. I think the person in charge of the Solihull plant/site used it. Not sure i this is still the case. Yer heap may have been run by LR when it was new.
