Normally you need to get them reset on a computer. Odd that if his laptop could diagnose the fault it didn't reset it at the same time. Listerdiesel's case is unusual - they normally represent a fault which has to be reset. Hope the sensor replacement works (it didn't on mine!)

We had the 3 Amigos come up on a long trip with loaded back end, none lasted though and the lights were gone next day.

Changed the O/S rear hub and shaft on the weekend as we suspect the bearing, had one instance of the lights coming up as we turned back into our road, but cleared after a restart.

Went to Northampton yesterday, not a peep.

Going to Inverness today, 1200 miles expected for the return trip, I'll post tonight if we get anything crop up.

I wonder if yours is a later model (mines a '99). I quite often get two lights on, and they cancel as you say, but once the third one's up then they stay for ever until cancelled on a computer - just run for a month with them on all the time! My mechanic says this is normal. I know the later models have an upgraded ECU.
