Hi all,

Just bought an 06 Freelander. None of the windows work, a worrying shudder in first, radio has a mind of it's own but I love it so far.

Just saying hi, Haynes manual on the way.

Hello and welcome to LZ

Have a look at downloading Rave its the JLR workshop manual, its like a haynes but on steroids i am sure it covers you motor.

1965, 1966, 1967 and 1971 vans in my past, as well as several bugs. I was saying the other day to a friend that my experience keeping old VWs on the road was prep for Land Rovers. He just shook his head at both.

My pain is that I don't own the 1965 (a 21 window) or the '67 pop-top Wesfalia camper anymore. They would be worth a bunch of money now.

Sambas are mucho dinero now. Had a chance to buy one about 10 years ago for under 10 grand. I didn't.
