Iv had my hippo for about a month now. Its a 2002 TD4 drives very well.
Done the wheel up test 52 & 55 seconds so changing the VCU looks like the next job to be ob the safe side.
Lots of usefull info on this site.

I'm not familiar with all this street parlance, what's a hippo?

It be a Freelander, Hippo is one of two things they get called The other ir a Gaylander !

Ah yes, I've seen Gaylander on here. Presumably some great wit came up with that one.

Hippo is far more pleasant.

Someone said a Freelander looked like a hippo during a land rover sales event and LR used it in advertising.

The ***lander name came from thems who dun't wash regular. We call them tratterers on ere. They drive tratters. Also known as biscuit tins cuz that's what they use to patch weld them.

Only if yer leave a door open after washing it and reverse oft yer drive and hit a wall/bollard with said door. Must have been about ten years ago.
