hi every one.new member here.just saying hello.
just became the owner of a over heating t reg freelander with L series rover tdi.
my problem is engine runs great for the first 30/40 minutes after start up with plenty of power and quick throttle response then as the tempreture rises to around 2/3rd way up the gauge power dies off and she gets very sluggish.
also cooling fan does'nt cut in and i dont know where the switch is....
thank you all in advance...rubble09

Hope yer not expecting someone to say."Don't worry about it, they all do that and it will fix itself......" :(

The overheating could amongst other things, be due to a blocked radiator, bodged coolant refill, faulty water pump and or knackered thermostat. Has or will result in hgf

You may want to consider either
A personal loan.
Google/download free rave manual.
Petrol and matches.
