The Isle-of-Lewis
Hello. As instructed I am introducing myself to you guys on here. I'm doing up my Defender Nintey and more than likely will need to call on a few favours along the way, so its only fair that I tell you a little about myself first.

Firstly I live in the Isle-of-Lewis which is a cool place to be and has plenty of places to have fun with the wagon. Unfortunately there is a lot of peat and peat bogs so I can expect to be getting proper stuck before long, so i'm keen to get my winch on before I go right into the hills. Had it in a few cool places so far but still being a little cautious.

I have had her for eight months or so and i'm doing it up almost new, its getting cleaned up and a fresh lick of paint on as we speak. It was a mechanic that owned the vehicle before hand down in south Yorkshire and he has done a lot mechanically and it shows. She runs like a dream. Most of the running gear is new to near-new and only the chassis that's 25 years old. so i'm trying to finish it off and get the Landie back to her former glory.

I'm setting it up for off road use but will mainly be used as a workhorse lugging about all the ods and ends day to day, but will be able to handle itself when I fancy a bit of fun.

I have posted a question regarding wiring of spots front and rear if anyone has a wiring diagram handy would be a big help thanks if you can find the post.

Thanks and catch you again.:beer2:
