Hi my names Steve I bought a defender td5 110 about 2 months ago, The Misses said I was having a mid life crises, (Not true??) I am slowly getting some problems sorted and hoped if we ran out of ideas there might be some advice here

Oh and just in case you need some preemptive advice answers...

A straight through exhaust is a must.

all terrains.

Yes they do leak.

Replace the loom to the ECU and yes it is oil from the engine.

What noise?
