As you might know I'm doing a rebuild. Now going to all this trouble and trying to repair the old wiring is, I think a waste of time so, New wiring ? Autosparks anyone else? Also how good quility?

I replaced my engine bay wiring loom after a minor 'thermal event'. I just bought wire in the right colours and some connectors. Use the old loom to get the correct wire lengths and tape it all up neatly with non-adhesive wiring tape. If you have the time and patience you should be able to replicate the entire wiring loom this way.

the issue I have with mine is it has been cut and bodged so many times and not by me
the engine bay wiring loom is just a mess

Did you manage to get one done yet :D getting close now my new chassis comes on the 23rd :crazy_driver:

Sorry no, still struggling to get much done (farm work and projects don't mix) but I'm going to try and get my old loom pegged up soon and start measuring up, so I may have something in the next few weeks all going well 😊

HI, what loom are you looking for? I have a late 200 tdi/ early 300 tdi bulkhead loom, otherwise Autosparks are great, I would get the latest spec loom possible, they tend to use more relays so don't burn switches etc, phil
