Hi
I'm a new land rover owner
I picked up a Freelander 1, 2005 Td4 2 litre Automatic with 70k on the clock
The thing is I don't know if the auto box oil has changed. The gears are smooth as silk.
(Touch wood))
Is it worth doing it I'm thinking of Millermatic ATF SP III-WS (6213)
The other question is I'm confused to where the drain plug is and filler?
Thanks and what a cracking site.

Ask in the Freelander section below. Replacing the auto fluid has been covered many times. You MUST follow the correct precedure. Easy to do but must be done the right way. I would advise doing a partual oil change which is all thats needed. Check the oil that comes out to see what condition it's in.

If it was my vehicle I would change all fluids if I didn't kow when they were last changed. An oil change is one of the cheapest and kindest thing to do.
