New Landy owner with a Freelander1

Hi, I bought a Freelander 1 yesterday. It is a 1999 2.0 diesel S-wagon. I'm really pleased with it but I and only paid little money for it and some repairs are needed. It seems a little under powered with power dropping after about 3000 revs, the steering becomes really stiff on full lock and it judders in first gear. That along with the r/o/s door wont unlock, f/n/s e/w not working, elec sunroof not working and rear wiper not working.....but asides from that I'm still happy and I want to put these things right. Has anyone any advice and where to start?? Thanks Simon
