Hello Everyone!

I recently purchased a 1986 Ex Army 90, it has a 200TDI engine in it and was at some point converted from soft top to truck cab.
It leaks like a Sieve and the doors don't line up but that's all part of the fun right?

I'm in Derbyshire and Im looking to do a little bit of light greenlaning and off roading. I am a complete beginner though so I could do with some guidance to say the least!

Hope to become an active member of the forums in the near future!

Hello. I am also in Ashbourne :) (Sarah is my partner)

Will be up for some green laning when I get my defender back together if you are up for it?

I have only been out a couple of times though, so probably wouldn't be a great guide!

I would definitely be up for some green laning James, That is a couple more times than I have been! I don't even know where there are any local lanes to try out?

I take it you have a big job on with the Landy?

Cool, sounds like we can get a group together.

Yeah, I am in the middle of a complete rebuild of my 90, but trying to get it finished by the end of Sep.

There aren't that many lanes near us, a couple near atlow, but some good ones up in the peak district.
 
You're about an hour from me too over in Nottingham. Would be interested in joining in... That is if I ever find a decent D1. Though with the amount of work james6546 is doing I've probably got some time. :D
 
Sounds good to me! We should definitely get something together.

I've still got some things to do on mine but it would stand some light off roading any time! Most of the work I need to do is electrical and nothing major just at the moment so any time for me is good?!

Yeah, both chasis look a bit bare at the moment. He's making good progress though, so don't give up on your search :p
