Thanks for the add ..looking forward to the banter..not yet a landy owner but had few in the past..my intentions are to get a disc 2 or defender and build a family off roader maybe more so the disco for comfort..live in the Newcastle upon tyne area so have Northumberland and Scottish border as a playground.
 
Wind the window down put the seat all the way back, and wish you were dead after 30mins of driving, welcome to defender driving if your a wide and a rather tall gentleman. ;)

I'd have the Discovery 2 personally comfy and offroad capable, just watch for the rot ;)

Hi ho..yes good welder and technician it has been my job for 40 years now..I've been looking at the 90 but just a bit basic on the comfort lol.So will probably go for the disco will look for one that has been fitted up with suspension wheels and tyres and winch to save outlays but if I find a good basic standard discovery happy to start project from scratch.
