Just joined the forum after buying my first Land Rover. Had an itch for a 90 for a number of years and finally done it...seems like the right thing to do as I live in Solihull... Mine is a '93 County and I'm in the process of sorting a few bits. It's a bit gnarly on top but solid underneath. The guy who looked at it for me before I bought said if I didn't buy it he would!! Loving it so far...should have bought one years ago but been in to sports cars (still got one) and had a number of Suzuki SJs (still got one of those too...)
First thing is to clean it up, sort the rear seating (which I have in a box) replace those alloys with some white steels and sort the lights on the instrument cluster...
