New Engine For 07 Defender???

Ford europe is giving its transit an all new engine A3.2L five cylinder' inline DuratorqTDCI common rail it makes around 200 hp and about 347 lb-ft of torque Now then' do you all think Ford dunn us in ' before they sold us to TATA? I think it would have been a nice motor for the Defender. Anyhow i going down the Pub now' I'll start a stir with the lads over a pint or two..

3.2 litre . . . don't sound like it will be very frugal on deesol !!

It'll be a TATA soon, them runs on chicken greese, surup and chapati flower probably !!!!

Well its a good old TDI's for me then ,at least i'll know my 200 will be going strong till the next eastern buyer coms on.. By the way talking of 200tdi changed my heater plugs tother day turned out on No1 +no4 Cyl were dufs even so the old girl allways fired up ok , allthough no4 was oil,d up any thoughts why?

probably only oil'd up cos it wasn't 'heating' properly !!
