I have just bought a Disco HSE.
Its my 5th Disco and I have never had an issue with any of them.
However, I had some options fitted and in particular the 'Vision Assist Pack'.
If you look at P41 of their online brochure it clearly says this includes Blind, spot monitoring, reverse Sensing etc.
However, when I collected the car, these options were not fitted and when the dealer checked the computer it seems they are not included in the computer generated order, but are in the brochure as 'included' which means it was not the dealers fault.
The dealer has contacted Landrover, but i am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this?
What are my options /What will they likely offer!:(

Your link doesn't work.

If you can prove that they were part of the deal the dealer needs to rectify the situation as they are the ones that supplied it to you.

If you can show that you purchased the vehicle based on the brochure information and the dealer cannot evidence a different 'spec' document that you accepted, believe would form the basis of the contract and the dealer is obliged to remedy at no cost to you

From my understanding,

if when building the car the parts arent available then they don't put them on,

If you've accepted the order then theres a little you can do,

Go back over your contract and check the fine print,

Last option you have is getting courts involved,

............. Take it up with the dealer, and I think they will have a better understanding of their obligations than the above , with all due respect etc etc.... A

The car 'is not as described' (assuming you can prove this) therefore you have recourse under UK consumer law.

Was drawing off an article in Honest John I saw a while back, same problem different car,

Never said I was an expert :D

Guess you paid for the pack so 1 option is refund of the retail price of that pack and move on.

If these are factory options there is no way to get them installed with any level of negotiating. I cannot imagine them returning the car to the production line.

If you don't want to accept the car as it is with a refund for the items not fitted, the only way to get those options is to reorder if the dealer agrees and wait for the new car to be build. I don't suppose they will be keen.

Alternatively would you accept aftermarket parking sensors being fitted, together with a refund for the missing pack?

It's not very satisfactory. Good luck.
