New Defender 90 Project

I fancied another Defender as it's been a while since my last 90 pickup four years ago. Firstly the price of defenders has rocketed over the last few years I think. So this time I want a hardback and wanted something presentable and no chequer plating, so I tried my usual places and luckily found a rare Woodcock Green Defender with can you believe is no rust, fantastic rear cross member and completely straight with no dents expect one on the plastic wheel arch.

So thought I'd document the monies and work undertaken
Purchase Price: £5750
Transporter: £350 - I live in Cardiff and I found the defender in surrey on facebook marketplace, it was listed on a Sunday evening and I managed to buy it within 15 minutes, the owner said many people contacted him afterwards offering more money.
Garage Works: £909 - Need MOT, service, also need rear brakes a caliper, track rod end, clean up of landa sensor plus other minor works.
Total: £7009

So now I have a defender which is straight, no rust and drives okay.
So now the minuses:

• The tyres are too big and doesn't allow for full lock - I would like to change them to boost alloys with standard tyres (if anyone fancies a swap plus some addition monies their will happy to deal)
• Interior - techno the seats are stained but not ripped, cubby box is ripped, handbrake handle has been dog eaten, no rear headlining and front headlining ripped, stereo lights but no doesn't work, heaters don't seem to work.
• Engine , starts first time, but is jumpy in first gear
• Bodywork - faultless minus a dent in the plastic wheel arch pushed in, rear wheel carrier needs fitting

So that's it I'm happy with the defender, although my neighbour keeps asking me to sell it too him haha

Any advice on my issues would be a great help and I'll keep updating the thread as I do works

That looks smart, are the tyres rubbing , is there some stops that can be adjusted to increase the lock
