New clutch..now gearbox gone!

Hello,
Im new to this site but REALLY need your help. I have a 1999 xedi. I had a new clutch fitted on friday when I picked it up the guy advised my that the viscous coupling had siezed. Then drove it home -2 miles, when I used it on saturday morning I drove in total 12 miles before I got this almighty banging on what I thought was the the back
I got it recovered home and took the viscous off- the wheels spin fine but it still makes the noise when driven.
Has the freelander curse caught me???

most likely blown IRD, if the VCU was nacked. but if the noise IS coming from the back, it could be a broken subframe mount or rear diff mount.
