Hi - Just new to the freelander and forum, can someone point me to step by step instructions to remove the rear prop shaft. Its probably on here somewhere but I can't find it. When people telk about removing it do they mean from the VCU back and including the rear of the two bearings! I know this will try the patience of some members but we all have to start somewhere!!!

Take the whole lot off.

Undo the 6 bolts and nuts from the flange on the ird, undo the 4 bolts and nuts from the rear diff flange, followed by the 4 center bearing bolts.

Get an assistant to help get it off as its floppy and heavy.
