Hi Everyone,
found Landyzone a couple of weeks ago, when I was looking for some Freelander 2.5 V6 info, found the site great, I had a real nightmare with my 1.8i so decided to trade my 2000 1.8i GS 5 door Freelander for a 2002 2.5 V6 GS 5 door freelander - Hope this one is more reliable,

I had to have a replacement engine withn 38000 Mi, put in to my 1.8i freelander, following the notorious 'HEAD GASKET' going, then some 5000 Mi later the same thing happened again, Obviously you can't sell a car without an engine, So I took another sting and bought a new engine, which I have to say served me well, and the car drove beutifully, but ever weary and as I said before I let it go for a V6,

Does any one have any tales of woe with a V6, or anything I should be looking out for ?.

ffs - out of the frying pan!!!
KV6 eats HGs faster than 1.8 and is more expensive to repair.
Get rid quick and get a TD4.
(Yes I had one and I've still got the scars).

i was trying to break it to ya gently.
