I need to put a new Ariel and base on a 54 plate freelander, anyone know how to do it? or is it a job for my local garage?

Its an 8mm on mine it takes about 5 mins. A deepish socket should do it with an extension bar, though I used snipe nosed pliers. 
Oh and don't try to take the glass off the interior light, pull the whole unit down gently it's on fitting springs.
