P1ssed off I am...lent the disco to me bro, to cut a story short, he's smashed the fooker up! He spun it an ended up doin a 180'. It went backwards into a concrete block, the front left corner hit a boulder. The insurance assessor has been out an reckons its borderline write off and we'll hear in a couple of days time whathe outcome is. Basically, it needs rear bumper, tailgate, tyre carrier, rear rhs indicator cluster, front lhs wing, front bumper, front bumper irons, both headlamps, front lhs fog light and the passenger seat is badly twisted (his fat cnut of a mate was sat in it at the time). I'm gonna be seriously ****ed if they write it off, I can't see me gettin more than 5k off them ferrit an I still owe about 3 on the thing. I'm thinkin about gettin a passenger seat from the scrappies being as though a new one is about 1800 squids! Hopefully that might swing it into the repairable bracket. Not a happy bunny......
 
Sorry to hear about ya Disco.....I know this idea won't help ya Disco but it may make you feel a bit better.....HILTI gun ya bro's balls to a wooden fence lol.....

Honestly I am sympathetic - but it may not be all bad, when and if they right it off, buy it back and rebuild it BETTER, if your insurance company is owt like mine was you'll get it for a song - I paid £300 for my disco - it'd got 4 new BFG AT's and a safari snorkel, ffs thats more than £300.
after they'd paid up it was back on the road 3 weeks later with a lot of goodies paid for out of the settlement.

Bro can repay with lots of hard work, and the excess, and you focus on the end result.

right what you need to do is get yer bro to pay for the damage and his mate to pay for a new seat....... seriously how fad do you have to be to break a disco seat they is designed to take fat cnuts as they were marketed to septics.........
 
I can't see em paying out more than 5k....So after buyin it back, do you reckon I can get it sorted with the remainder? I nearly thumped his skull bone for him when he showed me what he'd done. The big pain is, I still owe money on the thing.......
 
Your wing is repairable......

As far as i can see from your pictures the parts required are:-

n/s/f indicator £ 25.00 new
front bumper £272.00 new
n/s/f lower fog/driving lamp £ 30.00 used
Tailgate £ 45.00 used.ebay,same color as urs
rear bumper £ 80.00
o/s/r bumper light unit £ 22.00

Paint and materials for wing and front bumper £150.00

Your car is an easy repair if you have the know how and time to do it.

You can get a seat back for between £25 and £50 .Just remove the seat from the car and strip the seat back down,replace the bent frame and reassemble using your seat back foam pads and cover.

Definitely worth buying back if it is written off. Get the porker to pay for the seat and, as has been suggested, your brother to pay for the rest. The pay out should cover your costs.
