Hello.
I bring some questions to see if you guys can help me.

Does anyone one knows how to replace the gear on the sunroof motor??
I tried with some pliers and it doesn't came out.

My car has the Harman Kardon setup with amp nav and cd and sub.
The unit is kaput so I bought one of those Chinese double din.
After I connect everything....only the left speakers play the front one very loud and clear the back one really low. All the four tweeters play.
Like I was advised I bought new speakers. My surprise...its not the speakers. So it can only be something on the cable I even inverted the wires on the speakers but no joy. They only play with the amp connected so that's good means it works
I really don't know what else to do.
Does anyone have the color code for the loom I will try to see if there is anything wrong....

My FBH works. its starts with the car and then after a wile is shuts off. All good. But i read that only should work when temp is 10 or 5 .....well mine always work today it was 13 and it started....is there any thing wrong? some say its the temp sensor...where is it located?

Many thanks for your help

If the tweeters are working, then it can only be the main speakers, or the cables too them, as the tweeters are fed off the same cable as the main speaker cable, which splits in the door.

If the FBH runs when the temperature is over 5°C, then the air temperature thermostat has failed. Its located behind the bumper, on the RH side of the radiator.

there is no sound coming out of it. when I connected the JVC ones you ear static but no sound wile the other is playing perfectly. Tomorrow i will take the one that is ok and plug the ones that don't play to see if it is the wires..
The sub is definitely blown you can ear it

Ok today I have removed all the speakers less the one on passenger door. The driver door didn't work until I cut the plug and connected it directly to the wires.....bad contact? bad connectors?
Then I connected the rear speakers to the same wires on driver door. They all play but....much lower than the two front ones.
I also noted that the wires are very dark like burned....
Maybe replacement is needed.

Corrosion of the speaker terminals is common. Additionally corrosion of the wires (normally goes black) is also pretty common, although this is just surface blackening, and can be cleaned off with a fine sand paper.

What speakers have you used as replacements? The HK speakers are 2 ohm's IIRC and so if normal 4 ohm car speakers are used, the volume will be lower.

I bought the ones you presented me....and they are way lower....
So I guess its oooops the ones I bought are 2 ohm....
I don't know a thing about this speakers thing. I can install a radio and that's it.
But the back ones are from HK and they are very low....could be the Radio?
You said I can buy a replacement Sub...I don't know if that is important or not but the one in FL has 4 connectors most of the ones I saw have 2.

Let me think on this. ;)

The sub woofer drier comes from here.https://www.thompsonsltd.co.uk/tour...600-watt-dual-voice-coil-4-ohm-subwoofer.html
