Just changed my break servo and found oil in it could some please tell me how it got in there as the servo has only one pipe coming off of it.

maybe the master cylinder is leaking into the servo

but would it not be clear oil instead of black oil

depends on wether there is aload of crap in the servo mixed with the brake fluid. only other thing i can think of is that engine oil is finding its way into the vacum pipe thats on the servo

the brake vacum pump maybe leaking and sending engine oil upto the servo

Cheers for the help think I will change the vacuum pump and see how it goes.
