Need help re Disco !!

well had this disco 300 , 1995 model. All of A Sudden the temp gauge, glow plugs and diesel pump cut of switch lost supply. If you bypass all with a wire from the battry, the engine starts, but otherwise it only crunks but no supply on pump switch. Fuses all ok. I am suspecting the ecu that controls the EGR valve as according to diagrams it supplies these items too.. any past experience.

if i eliminate the egr valve and throotle response switch and re wire like the 200, will i cause any damage to the engine???
