Hi all

You can probably guess wots just happened. I've tried to search recent answers on this but I'm just wondering what people are liking to use at the moment as regards clutch kits with arms and everything aswell, only thing is i have dodgy knees and I know some seem to have softer springs than others

She's a 98my 300 disco on 33" tyres

Many thanks people

Its probably the arm if it was sudden, make sure to get the reinforced one, or reinforce one yourself

Mine was sudden, no warning whatsoever and it was the plate.

Yeah we think it’s arm but clutch is tired anyway and while we’re in there...

Yeah that looks fookered mate haha

I’ve spoken to Luke at LOF but was wondering wot people are recommending nowadays

Cheers

@towsey956 ... late last year I fitted a full Valeo clutch to SWMBO's 97 D1 300Tdi - been fine since - also fitted the reinforced fork, and a new pivot ball and holder ....

@Disco1BFG has done a good write up on fitting a servo - one finger to press the pedal down.

And, ..... if your knees are struggling, then as @Flossie says - a servo is a very worthwhile, and cheap addition - SWMBO's D1 has one - highly recommended ... Here's the thread I did...
