nearly but not quite my defender had 2 wheel bearings tightened up last week well today coming home on the m4 the brakes went spongy then the drone of a knackered bearing pulled over to check fair bit of play in the NSF bearing so its booked in for tomorrow morning need it back asap,i got off the m way and took it steady through a much longer route but she got me home ok,goes to show you cant nip up a bearing on a defender if its got play its shagged and will eventually fail
