Can any one tell me in layman terms what Fault 031-04 compressor relay power amplifier open circuit, means? D2 is starting to hunker down, have checked the fuses and and replaced the relay, any advise would appreciated.

Not sure what the failure mode actually is. You say in your other post that the compressor is no longer working.

In the short term, you can get valves to put in line with the airbags pipes to allow you to manually pump the bags up until you resolve the issue.

Like the sound of these valve, any idea where to source them, it would be good to have them fitted even if I can resolve this, Thanks

They are on the bay of flea.

He has a few different sets available. I would fit these with a tap to allow either the compressor to be used or manually fill the system using the valves. ( not sure if he supplies the taps)

Thanks got a set, they are more an emergency repair kit but good to have, if I remember to put them in the motor.

Which fuses and relay did you check? ... for the SLS compressor relay only fusible link FL9 is relevant,
 
You should have said the whole story from the beginning... Then there might be a leak or the compressor was worn and couldnt inflate the bags so it exceeded it's duty cycle, if it didnt start after you cleared the code try to power it up with nanocom or bridge the relay's contact for test cos it might be shot or the circuit interrupted
