Like a few other I have invested in a nanocom evo. I had a play today having entered my unlock codes, however the becm is still showing as being locked, what have I done wrong ?

Check your unlock codes that you input to Namocom.
If you have put in an O instead of a Zero then it won't have worked, the code is also case sensitive.
My TD5 engine section was locked and when I checked again I had done O instead of 0 trick.

BeCM should be locked IIRC...

The BeCM is Locked from the factory to prevent changes to certain parameters....

Rick the Pick will know for sure...

Think he means unlock code for Nanocom BECM section. You can't unlock a locked BECM with Nanocom.

Is it telling you the BECM is locked ,or the function itself it locked on Nanocom?
If it is the former then,as the guru's have said, that is normal.
If it is the latter however, then as others have said it could be an unlock code entered incorrectly when setting up Nanocom.
:)

I've had my nanocom about 6months now. Today I changed from air to coils using the unit but now instead of saying valeo/bcu in the menu it says as10. When I click on it. Function locked! Just about to hook up to my laptop and see what's happening

Have you removed the relay or fuse for the eas system there’s something you remove to stop the ecu throwing a fault I think I know I’ve seen it on here somewhere hope it helps you out

Why did you change from air to coils, its a simple system and easy to work on.
