Hi all, just got an email from Nonocom to say that the new Evolution will be on sale from 13th Sept, price will be 273 Euro + 20%VAT (so 271 quid) plus delivery.

I am really tempted but my brain is saying "get a Hawkeye"

I'm saying get a hawkeye and I have a nanocom at the moment. Support is crap, and you get an email saying that feature X is in beta, and may not work etc, when you report that it is broken. Not on for a 'finished' product :-(

I got that same email today from Nanocom. I thought about it a bit then bought a Hawkeye. I like some of the ideas and principles behind the nanocom like being able to get the readouts in a file I can look at on my PC but was not keen on being a guinea pig for one of the first nanocom evo's to be sold and the Hawkeye will still do what I want but slightly less convenient. I might have to write a code out onto a piece of paper which I can just about manage.

I'm trying to get one!

Mattia is his own worst enemy.

I've asked him for his paypal details so that I can purchase an Evo and there's been nothing but silence since.

It's a shame his business sense is so bad...

Probably because it hasn't gone into full production yet, and when it does, you'll be told that the reason half the stuff doesn't work is that the software is beta.

Finally got an Evolution.

Hooked it up and had a quick spin with it recording data and dumping it to a csv file.
It's not bad at all.

I'm sure it has a few quirks that i'm yet to find, but i'm pleased with it.
