Hi, new to the forum but have had a search on this topic and not found any recent answers - apologies if I have missed it. I want to get a OBD port diagnostic device for fault finding and clearing (I hope) faults on a 2.4 TDCI Defender and also potentially another family members TD5. The Nanocom gets lots of mentions in forums, but at £446 for the Nanocom Evolution unlocked for a Puma plus £69 to unlock another engine/vehicle type (e.g. TD5) then it is quite expensive compared to other devices, even ones that say they specialise in Land Rover / Jaguar. So my question is do you get more from a Nanocom that makes it worth it, or what other devices would you recommend that can provide the same capability at a lower price? Thanks.

Hi, I use a Foxwell NT530 on my D2 & Freelander 1 & is loaded with ALL LR/JAG models (you can add up to 3 other manufactures BMW etc before you have to start deleting one if you want to add others. It has an SD card in it to store live data & it will certainly do most common stuff. I know it won't do D2 ride height calibration.
If you look at Foxwells uk site it does give charts about what their various products do. I do believe there are some copy versions out there which you should steer clear of.
