About the only niggles I really have at the moment is the fact that my P38 is dirty, slightly bent out of alignment bit on the brush bar and my gear change between 1st and 2nd is pretty crap. Although the last one is being sorted under warranty im just having to jump through a few hoops first it seems!

Im not convinced you do as long as the two lower brake lights are working ok. Some P38's never had the high level brake light. Maybe if its there though it has to work, I dont really know so this is probably a pointless post

if it's fitted yes it must work but if it's disconnected then no it doesn't so either unplug it or remove the bulb and tell the tester it's been permanently disconnected.

Only niggle at the mo is one of my new front freekin air bags keeps going down (worse than it's old perished replacement ) - found the leak at last, O rings where the pipe goes into the valve block so O ring kit winging it's way from the States as we speak !

Where do I start. My p38 diesel is up on chocks as Im fitting a new rear pinion bearing to the diff. I also have a new front wing waiting to be fitted and the heater "O" rings need replacing. My petrol P38 needs heater "O" rings replacing, both heater fans have packed up and there is a vibration coming from the rear drive train so I will be busy for the rest of this year :-0
