No 4 is hard top to tub centre of side bracket , handbrake spring bolts to gear box mounting bracket other loop for spring is on handbrake rod

Number 3 looks like one of the brackets that holds the apron panel between the front wings on.
Number 5 looks like a throttle return spring, the spring looks too weedy to be the handbrake.

Thank you for help all, particularly Wattfield and Honolulujoe :rolleyes::D

1. Is this something to do with mounting the starter solenoid to the battery tray?

2. I'll get some better pictures at the weekend :oops:

3. LordOWar - not quite sure I'm following you, could you explain again or take a picture?

4. Blackburn - same as above :confused::oops:

5. I'm pretty sure this is the spring that came with the Hand Brake assembly as I kept everything together in bags/boxes, but some what I can see of online pics the return spring looks shorter and stronger than what i have, so maybe you're right LordOWar? This is the best pic I can find for the lower mounting point for future reference.

Great, thanks for that. I didn't understand what you meant by apron as mine doesn't have one; there is was a capstan there instead.

OK, better picture of the random bracket. Its got a square bit that goes into a threaded bit at one end, and just a hole in the other end.

It was covered in oily crap so suspect it was from engine/gearbox area

Dunno, but the bracket is now bolted to the bottom of the flywheel housing for easy access, in case I ever go wading :D

More random bits to identify, this time to do with the rear tub....

I know the E shaped plates/shims go in between the chassis an dthe tub, but I have alot more places they could go than plates. Is there a particular way to set it up?

The bigger brackets at the bottom I have no idea.
