Mystery Switch

Hello,

I have recently acquired a 300tdi 110 and having given the interior a really good clean earlier today, I noticed a rocker switch behind the steering wheel on the right hand side, parallel to the ignition barrel. Does any one have any ideas what this might be for:- as in, did Land Rover fit a switch here for any reason?

The only other thing I can think of is that it is a switch for the diesel heater which it's had fitted between the fuel filter head and the filter canister.

I'm cofuffled!

Depends on the age of the defender but that might be your fog lamp switch for the rear fog light

Noope, fog light switch is one of the switches to the bottom right of the dash. It's a 1995 M reg if that's any help.

might be the switch to spray oil over road from back of landy. Wait there its a landy does that without a switch.

Looks like you'll have to trace the wires mate
