Hi,
Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction, we have just returned home from a weekend away to our normal flat battery (new battery, fsr, checked by an auto electrician etc) and while connecting the charger ive noticed a small harness with 2 connectors that are hanging loose, they look dirty so must have been like this for sometime but does any know what they are for and where they plug into please? I have moved them soits easier to take a pic as they where hanging down.
Faing that has is anyone on here in plymouth with a similar vehicle - 2002 l322 td6?

mine has the same two plugs left unused.

think they are the same on all TD6 models. part of the loom that isn't required. you dont have anything to worry about. :)

Most common battery drain issues on the L322 are the Final Stage Resistor and the headlamp wipers not parking correctly

Ive changed the FSR and also took the fuse out for the headlamp wipers, returned on from a weekend at Badminton and flat again. Its driving me nuts, Ive changed the battery for the biggest heavy duty one that fits in, Ive changed the FSR, removed headlamp fuse and after 24hrs of non use its still going flat.
Ive searched through LOADS of threads, had an auto electrian out and still no further down the line.

You can get a meter that has a probe that looks like a fuse....remove each fuse in turn and plug this in...it will measure the current draw on that circuit.

Do this with the car switched off and in sleep mode and find which one has the highest current draw and work from there.

Ok thanks for that, I'll try and find one, do they have a specific name?

Damp in the amp / sat nav area can also drank the battery

Had a look the other day, its bone dry so thats something else I can cross of the list.
